How Rootcrown uses AI
Rootcrown uses AI in several places. We label it in the app, and here is the whole picture.
Narration
All narration is AI. Mark's narration is an AI copy of his voice, made with ElevenLabs with his consent. You can also choose other AI narrators, or, with Premium, an AI copy of your own voice made from a short sample you record.
Your meditations
Each meditation is written for you with AI, from your name, your goals and your quiz answers, and then narrated by an AI voice.
Music and images
Background music, including custom meditation music, and the images in the app are AI-generated.
Mark AI
Mark AI is an AI guide built on Mark's teaching. It runs on Google Gemini. It is not Mark himself, not a counsellor and not a medical professional, and it is not a crisis service. Free accounts get 15 minutes a day.
Your information
What each AI service receives, and why, is listed in the privacy policy.
