Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Rootcrown account (formerly EnlightenMe) and the data held with it at any time, either inside the app or by asking us here. This page meets the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 and Google Play's User Data policy.
The fastest way: in the app
- Open Rootcrown and go to Settings.
- Tap Edit profile.
- Tap Delete account and confirm. This permanently removes your account and its data straight away.
By email
If you can't use the app, for example because you've uninstalled it, email us from the address on your account and we'll delete it for you. Emailing from your account address is how we confirm the request is really yours.
Email support@alignedmomentum.co.nz with the subject "Delete my Rootcrown account", from the email address you signed in with.
What gets deleted
Your profile, stage plans and tasks, meditations and their audio, affirmations, mood and wellbeing check-ins, gratitude entries and letters, Mark AI conversations, uploaded photos, and your sign-in itself. Group conversations you took part in remain for the other people in them, with your messages removed.
How long it takes
In-app deletion is immediate. Email requests are actioned within 30 days, usually much sooner, and we'll email you to confirm once it's done.
What's kept, and why
Records of any purchases are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. These are held by our payment providers, not in the app. Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone.
